TINNITUS is a metal band that folks should definitely watch out for!! These 5 guys take the stage with full out fury, and don't let loose their grip on you till they say so!

Pieced together just a short time ago, the band started with the Chaboyer brothers -Clint on drums and Dylan on leads and their buddy Rick on bass. Soon after, Dylan recruited Anthony (guitar), from a former band, and after a long search for a singer, Dave took over the role as frontman.

With their melodic and uptempo driven metal, TINNITUS is sure to make their mark in the scene...and like I said...their live show is a MUST to see!!!

Raw, powerful, destructive, pure. These words sum up the eclectic avalanche that is Inwolven. Formed in 2005, when singer/guitarist Mike Milner met with bassist Brad Jorgenson, the quartet burst onto the Winnipeg metal scene with gale force strength. As the time passed, they saw a couple faces come and go; solidifying the line-up in 2006. This had to be their most dominant year, constantly gigging and a demo recorded. It was in the last months of 2006 where Inwolven would go through it's toughest period to date, parting ways with both drummer Matt Bileski and guitarist Matt Toews. However, the future looked fruitful as they aquired drummer Serge Berard and keyboardist Dietrich Toews. Fresh from the deep freeze of the arctic wastelands, Inwolven returns in 2007 and will once again show you what is in your skin.

As we tread from the mist under northern skies and desolate nights, five souls set foot to complete one common aspiration. We are the Nocturnal Divinity...Led only by our undying love for composition, we will massacre the remains of your hearts, and captivate your yearning souls for the unwavering sound of what you wish the angels could sound like...In late October of 2005, Nocturnal Divinity was born. Brian Layer was found frozen in a block of ice from Antarctica with a stick, of which was then replaced with a bass guitar, assuming that he would be good at it. Brian was discovered at Pirate Fest at The Zoo in Osborne Village with a sign stating ‘WILL PLAY FOR FOOD OR BOOZE’; he was then adopted into Nocturnal Divinity. To this day, he still insists to cut the sleeves off every shirt that comes into his possession.Coming from the Netherworlds through a portal in The Collective Cabaret's basement, Matthew Toews, master swordsman, traded in his sword for an axe. Nocturnal Divinity was everything that he has ever wanted; it was the exact style and formation that he had imagined for quite some time, and he wanted it badly.Willing to explore and learn to play new instruments, Michael Milner fell upon us while seeking to feed his musical desires. Michael was interested in being a part of a different style of music, starting everything from the beginning, to becoming part of an epic masterpiece.Arriving from the land of dust and ashes, Carly Iskierski, was added to the collaboration, looking for a new addiction to ease her pain. With words sewn together like an antique wedding dress, she is sure to shock you with her sullen grace. And finally, Frank Molnar, a man of mystery was found. Hidden in shadows until the beat of a drum, he will light your way with sounds that are so haunting, they are beautiful to the unknowing mind. With two band added together, heading towards a new direction, we hope to entrance you into the sounds of our hopes and fears, creating a nocturnal divinity...(Oh yeah, and Matt says that he would one day like to roar a burp in front of at least 10,000 of you. And for those who know Matt, you'll know when it's coming...)

Since it's inception in 2002, Xplicit has remained the sound that was forged with the fists of two friends driven by metal. Anxious to start performing, Mark and Travis would hone their sound underground in small basement gigs where their following would humbly begin and later grow beyond expectations. By the summer of 2004, the pieces of the puzzle that would form Xplicit began to fall into place and the band was quickly generating a buzz in the local metal scene. As time passed, scheduling conflicts and committment issues sent Xplicit on a downward spiral. Progress in the band stagnated much to the dismay of it's founding members, and just as many other bands who suffer line-up changes, the unit unravelled in August 2005. Rising back up from the flames in early 2006, Xplicit; newly reformed and armed with three fresh talents, hit the Winnipeg scene with something to prove, and improving they've been. The recent acquistions: Dan Legrand (vocals), Rob Watson (bass) and Eric Terleski (guitar)bring at long last an end to the drought Mark and Travis had been forced to endure. With a heavy rythmic flow, fierce vocals and uniquely crushing tone comes a sound not so familiar. Clever riffs complimented by the voracious onstage energy of it's members yield an intensity that results in a visit to the chiropractor. The band soldiers on, ever-evolving, never moving in a set direction. Their fate and faith is in constant question as they aim to attain one single goal...Supreme domination!

Pornocracy is a name well known throughout the underground of winnipeg. Starting out in 1999 they have re pioneered the traditional metal movement. Their debut album " 6 Days Of Darkness " sold out in less than 2 hours. With a style that is straight up in your face and plain outright intense they are very hard to ignore. They have defied the " Nu metal " movement and out right boycotted the ever changing corporate rock taking on all comers. Like them or hate them... you will never forget the name Pornocracy...

Over a year in the making. Month after month of rehearsals, only now to be unleashed. DEVOID has arrived. The coming together of four unique individuals has sparked a unique blend of metal that will surely take hold of the listeners senses and refuse to let go. The job of lead vocals and lead guitar falls on the shoulders of seasoned front man Chris Wood. Professionally trained with years of live and studio experience. His on stage persona commands attention while still delivering his brand of angst driven metal to the listening audience. Steve Morovek was given the duties of rhythm guitar and backing vocals and doesn't falter on either. The powerful guitar based rhythms let loose by Steve's amplifier lays waste to all in his path. And the combination of Steve and Ed's backing vocals brings a new edge to Devoid's style of music. Pounding funk induced drumming is where Ed Kosa comes in. Another seasoned veteran of the stage, Ed delivers perfect meter, immaculate timing and flair unseen by Winnipeg audiences in a long time. The back bone of devoid, Ed's harmony and sometime lead vocals, play a major part in Devoid's overall sound. The low end, the heaviness, the dark side of the music. This is where Trevor Harper prowls. A long time touring companion of Chris, Trevor's thundering bass lines and attitude filled stage presence is just the right compliment to the other Devoid musicians. Devoids thick, rich harmonies and devastating frontal assault style of metal, has to be seen to be believed. Four individuals........ one goal.
