Since it's inception in 2002, Xplicit has remained the sound that was forged with the fists of two friends driven by metal. Anxious to start performing, Mark and Travis would hone their sound underground in small basement gigs where their following would humbly begin and later grow beyond expectations. By the summer of 2004, the pieces of the puzzle that would form Xplicit began to fall into place and the band was quickly generating a buzz in the local metal scene. As time passed, scheduling conflicts and committment issues sent Xplicit on a downward spiral. Progress in the band stagnated much to the dismay of it's founding members, and just as many other bands who suffer line-up changes, the unit unravelled in August 2005. Rising back up from the flames in early 2006, Xplicit; newly reformed and armed with three fresh talents, hit the Winnipeg scene with something to prove, and improving they've been. The recent acquistions: Dan Legrand (vocals), Rob Watson (bass) and Eric Terleski (guitar)bring at long last an end to the drought Mark and Travis had been forced to endure. With a heavy rythmic flow, fierce vocals and uniquely crushing tone comes a sound not so familiar. Clever riffs complimented by the voracious onstage energy of it's members yield an intensity that results in a visit to the chiropractor. The band soldiers on, ever-evolving, never moving in a set direction. Their fate and faith is in constant question as they aim to attain one single goal...Supreme domination!
